Dear Friends: The photos here are from the Shore of Hope Christmas celebration at our orphanages with the birth of Jesus story and of course a gift package of sweets for every child. For many of the new children this was their first present in their life. We thank our Russian team, Vicki and Kostiya for creating the party for the children and all of you whose generous contributions made this possible.

Basic medical supplies for the orphanage doctors and nurses are always at a critical shortage. In September 2007 we started a new project providing some of the most needed items; such as vitamins, allergy and cough syrups, Tylenol, bandages and anti-bacterial ointments. |

All of the children at the Mirnoe, Karsokova and Topolevo orphanages received new shoes in June. In July the remaining orphages received. This year delivered 500 pairs of shoes. We would like to send a special thanks to some of our sponsors, INCAT, AAA of Michigan and the Lansing Michigan Russian School. | Shore of Hope works to improve the lives of orphans from Far Eastern Russia in the Khabarovsk Krai.
